Dave Richardson

Dave Richardson is our Club Coach for the 2024-25 season, but is available for one-on-one and other coaching on prior arrangement.

Dave has returned to be our Club Coach after the Seniors coach in 2023-24.

Dave has 30 years' coaching experience at schoolboy, club and represenatitive level. Most recently he was 1st XI coach at Sacred Heart College. Prior to this he has held coaching, development and high performance roles at Northern Districts Cricket, Sport Waikato and Sport Bay of Plenty, amongst others.

Alex Cormack

Alex Cormack is Ellerslie Cricket Club Director of Junior Cricket for 2024-25.

Alex has returned for another season!

Alex is an up and coming cricketer from the Malden Wanderers Cricket Club in south-west London, UK. He has played U18 County cricket for Northamptonshire, London Schools U19 academy cricket and premier league cricket.

Alex is also a ECB Level 2 Core Coach. He has experience with coaching junior, youth and womens teams, as well as one-on-one coaching.

Stephen Venville

Stephen (Steve) Venville is Ellerslie Cricket Club Director of Senior Cricket for 2024-25 season.

Stephen has played for Ellerslie Cricket Club for the past 30 seasons as a player.

He has hung up the gloves and pads this season to help our senior boys in a coaching role.

Stephen has built up a lot of knowledge and wisdom over his playing days to pass on to the current players of Ellerslie, which makes him the perfect person for this role.
