Welcome to Ellerslie Cricket Club

We would like to welcome you to the Ellerslie Cricket Club, an Auckland Premier cricket club.

Since its humble beginnings, in 1922 at Michaels Reserve Ave, the club has achieved many successes, winning its way into the premiership competition in the late 70s, and developing champion cricketers, that include Bill Fowler, Martin Pringle and Emily Drumm to name a few. The Club prides itself on providing a cricket environment for both social and elite cricketers, for the whole family and developing young players to become future champions of cricket.

Ellerslie Cricket Club provides organised cricket for all age groups, from 5 year olds learning cricket skills in Nursery grade through to over 60 year olds playing Presidents grade. Both men and women have an opportunity to play elite cricket in Auckland's Premiership competitions. Our women and girls teams are growing in strength every season, with Ellerslie winning the women's 1st grade competition 2008/09.

The full BLACKCAPS squad be conducting a signing session on Wednesday afternoon at Parnell Cricket Club.

Where: Parnell Cricket Club, Shore Road Reserve, Shore Road, Parnell

Stand-alone Premier Club

The Ellerslie Committee is proud to announce that Ellerslie CC once again is a stand-alone Auckland Premier Club. Ellerslie CC will be entering a Premier team into the new Premier competition structure implemented by Auckland Cricket for the next 4 seasons. We believe, Ellerslie CC will have a very strong Premier side as shown by last seasons results, having the majority of players in the ECC/AUCC Premier team.

New Committee Members

At the AGM our retiring Chairman, Brynley Goodger, was inducted as a Life Member of the club for his services over the last 25 years. Jeff Scott retired as Funding Liaison Officer. Thank you for your tireless efforts. A few positions were juggled to fill these voids and 3 new members voted onto the committee;
