Youth
Youth Cricket in Auckland is played in the following two grades - Year 9/10 (Junior Open), and U19 (Senior Open). Traditionally, these grades have consisted of limited overs cricket played on a Saturday afternoon. For the 2018/19 season, the following additional grades are offered:
U19/U23:
- U23 Limited Overs - Start Date - 8th December. Finish Date - 19th January. 40 overs, 11-a-side, on Saturday afternoons.
- U23 Saturday T20 - Start Date - 8th December. Finish Date - 19th January. 20 Overs, 11-a-side, on Saturday afternoons.
- U19 Wednesday T20 - Start Date - 24th October. Finish Date - 12th December. 20 Overs, 9-a-side, on Wednesday afternoons. Also runs after Christmas, from the 12of February to the 20th of March.
- U19 Tennis Ball Carnival - Start Date -18th November. Finish Date - 25th November. 12 Overs, 6-a-side, on Sundays with 3 games per day.
U16:
- Saturday Limited Overs - Start Date - 8th December. Finish Date - 19th January. 40 Overs, 9-a-side, on Saturday afternoons.
- Saturday T20 - Start Date - 8th December. Finish Date - 19th January. 20 Overs, 9-a-side, on Saturday afternoons.
- Wednesday T20 - Start Date - 24th October. Finish Date - 12th December. 20 Overs, 9-a-side, on Wednesday afternoons. Also runs after Christmas, from the 12of February to the 20th of March.
- Tennis Ball Carnival - Start Date - 9th December. Finish Date - 16th December. 12 Overs, 6-a-side, on Sundays with 3 games per day.
